So for Christmas two years ago, my mom got us an air fryer. After some first tentative steps, we got into it and so when asked,
"what are some vegan foods I can cook in my air fryer?" I had to throw in my 2 cents worth of experience.
One of the best foods in the air fryer is Brussels sprouts.
They
are easy to make and they taste so much better than steaming or, even
worse, boiling – which makes the sulfur compounds that most people who
hate Brussels sprouts hate Brussels sprouts.
Here’s how to air fry them:
In
a large bowl, toss quartered Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of
olive oil, salt and freshly cracked black pepper until they are
completely coat.
Toss
into air fryer and cook at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove the
sprouts and flip them around a bit and continue for another 4 minutes.
These really are awesome! It’s the only way we make them anymore.
